Getting to hang out with teenagers is just about the coolest thing I can think of.  There are so many things that God wants to do in the lives of teens and so many opportunities to take advantage of.  It's the most fun time of life and it can also be the most stressful time of life.  And I love being there for both the good and the bad, the easy and the hard, the fun and the not-so-fun.  But so many teens are just sleepwalking through life these days, and that includes their church life.  At Lake Murray Evangelical Church, we want our Youth Group to be about being awake, getting focused on what God is doing, and then going out and living life to the fullest.  Join us as we join Him!!!

WHAT THE YOUTH GROUP DOES @ LMEC
AREA 51 Meetings: Every Wednesday night from 6-8 PM
 
What should I expect when I come on Wednesday nights?
  • A fun place to hang out and get away from some of the pressures of life
  • A place where you will be accepted for who you are
  • A chance to get to know some other Christian teens
  • Fun games and activities
  • Purposeful Bible study that helps you see who God wants you to be and that applies to your every day life
  • A chance to pray for others and to be prayed for

AREA 51 Meetings are open to all high schoolers and middle schoolers.  Anyone can come and everyone is welcome!

Sunday Morning Bible Study: Every Sunday morning at 9 AM

What should I expect when I come on Sunday mornings?

  • A time to recoup from your week in a familiar and safe environment
  • In-depth Bible study that both teaches Scripture and deals with issues that affect teens
  • Separate middle school and high school studies that focus directly on your age group

We do a bunch more fun stuff, too, but you have to come and see for yourselves to find out!
